Broad cultural movements brighten the summer season in NuevitasNuevitas, Jul 12.- A broad cultural movement is developed for the varied tastes to guarantee the enjoyment of the families during this summer season, activities such as summer courses, exhibitions, and presentations by amateur artists who reach different places in this northeast municipality.

Every weekend local creators, socio-cultural projects, and workers from the Ricardo Cabrero Library and the Museum go to complex communities and neighborhoods to brighten the lives of girls and boys with attractive proposals that range from the presentation of books to encouraging the habit of reading, participation games and even shows to appreciate the various artistic manifestations.

Among the recreational options that Nuevitas people can enjoy, the attractions of the Antonio Ñico López amusement park with clown presentations and gastronomic offers also stand out, while the Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda House of Culture and the Museum fill this summer with courses and workshops on Afro-Cuban dances, pyrography, guitar, doll making, local history and tours of historical sites to provide the population with another form of healthy entertainment and at the same time cultivate knowledge and spirit.

In addition, the socio-cultural projects Aires en Bahía, Clara Narration, and Artesanos del Cañón carry out extensive activities this summer season to transfer their creations to the most diverse places of the land, while the art instructors of the José Martí Brigade remain in close link with local schools, work results that were recently presented at the Eleventh Experience Exchange Workshop.
