Nuevitas, July 9.- An active weekend prepared by the Union of Young Communists in Nuevitas as part of the initiatives carried out by the militancy in the Day of Work and Victory, convened by the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Government in Camagüey, with which we the municipality greet the National Rebellion Day -July 26.
Starting at nine o'clock in the morning, a bicycle ride will depart from Plaza 26 de Julio, which will enter through Los Micros, return through Luis Fernández Quiroga street to the corner of the municipal party headquarters, continue through Calixto García and end at the Salvador Cisneros Betancourt Park, according to Michel Casquero González, first secretary of the organization in the territory.
On the other hand, Sunday will be a day of productive work to contribute to local economic development. The destination of the local youth will be the 26 de Julio Cement Factory where, in addition to supporting the constructive actions that are undertaken there, girls and guys will share a broth, good Cuban music and other initiatives proposed by the industry administration.
The departure of the transport for will be at eight in the morning from the Party's headquarters in this coastal city.
The Union of Young Communists in Nuevitas will also participate in the preparation tasks that will take place this Saturday on Territorial Defense Day, a day on which it is also planned to hold a trade fair in the Plaza 26 de Julio.
Last Wednesday night, the Nuevitas people enjoyed a concert by the De Cuba group at the Malecón de Los Sueños, with a pleasant sound of anthological songs from the national and world pentagram.
