Nuevitas, July 8.- To increase the benefits of electronic commerce and government, various entities of this municipality to the northeast of Camagüey are coming together in correspondence with the call to strengthen the computerization of Cuban society.
Ledyslán Cruz González, a member of the Informatization Group, explained that to increase electronic commerce, a mobile application is being created. This app will allow legal and natural people registered in the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT) to disclose the services.
“Until now, there is nothing similar in the province of Camagüey, so it would be a step forward for Nuevitas to be the first to develop this initiative that will include state benefits, self-employed workers, and micro, small and medium-sized companies”.
Regarding the electronic government, Cruz González highlighted that a group of entities located in the demarcation is incorporated that today are not in the Citizen Portal and others that do not provide all the information that the locals require to know the procedures and services they provide.
Trade and electronic government issues to which the country's leadership has offered special impetus for some years, hence it is being analyzed, once again, at the review meeting of the Computerization Program of Cuban society, directed by the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
To this call, efforts are added from Nuevitas by the Young Computer Clubs, the Territorial Center of the Computer Applications Company, Education, the mass media Radio Nuevitas and Nuevavisión, the Government, and the Telecommunications Company of Cuba to take steps forward in that alternative that allows as many facilities.
