Nuevitas, July 6.- As part of the care program for vulnerable communities, in this municipality, the transformation of the reality of the neighborhoods is developed with collective participation to solve material and social problems that affect its inhabitants.
According to Benancio Pupo, president of the council Number One-Tarafa, among the completed works are the medical office 16, ready to provide services to the population, the patching of Ricardo Cabrera street, as well as two playgrounds located in the El Hueco and Pastelillo communities.
The latter was built in the area where a micro-dump previously existed, and thanks to the help of the Community Services Unit, the Government and the community members themselves neighbors, all this was possible.
Likewise, work is still being done the repair of medical offices 17 and 18, the recovery of the Pastelillo baseball field, and the restoration of a section of Angola Avenue, from the Ignacio Agramonte secondary school to El Jiquí.
On the other hand, they plan, once the aforementioned tasks are completed, the rehabilitation of the unit belonging to the Family Care System in Pastelillo, the butcher shop and the La Gloria warehouse.
The social transformation of neighborhoods in situations of vulnerability is part of the Government's projection in Nuevitas to improve the quality of life of the locals, an objective that accumulates positive results in the popular council Number One-Tarafa.
