Nuevitas, July 2.- A variety of recreational and cultural activities are planned to inaugurate summer 2022, on July 2, in the Antonio Ñico López park, in the municipal seat, and the Ranchón de Residencial on Santa Lucía beach. Book sales, dances, sporting events, domino tournaments, board games, summer courses, beach volleyball contests, tours of historical sites, and visits by musical groups, among other entertainment, constitute recreational proposals.
Also included in the summer recreational plan are activities for the 120th anniversary of the birth of Nicolás Guillén, Children's Day, and the 96th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, on August 13.
The neighborhoods will have coverage within the offers this summer season in line with the projections of the country's top management, aimed at stimulating the role of each member of the communities in the transformations of their environments.
Art, sports, schools, and gastronomy will be the core supports of the actions projected to start the summer stage in this northeastern Camagüey with an abundance of creative originality.
