Aug, 2025.- I've never traveled so much in such a short time as I did last summer.

Every Sunday I enjoyed healthy options in contact with nature accompanied by my family, coworkers, and loyal Radio Nuevitas listeners.

In Santa Lucía, we went to Residencial and La Boca beaches; in San Miguel, to El Bagá; and in the neighboring Camagüey municipality of Minas, to the Los Cocodrilos breeding center near to the Máximo River. In all of these places, we enjoyed the scenery, and the flora and fauna took us in as part of the environment.

Each trip produced a commentary, photo reports, interviews, information, or chronicles, because it was unforgivable to be there without sharing with the CMHL audiences those experiences that they could make their own through the magic of the radio.

As a family, we planned for this year to be similar because if it weren't for those opportunities, time would pass by immersed in everyday life.

We never imagined that this time, far from thinking about reserving seats every Sunday, we would be immersed in preparations to welcome a new member who is growing inside me, and whose needs we must guarantee before, during, and after the moment of entering this world.

And, on the other hand, the frequent medical consultations, tests, and appointments I must complete as part of the follow-up established by the Maternal and Child Care Program, which replace entertainment options.

My firstborn doesn't complain; he knows from experience that sometimes priorities change, and this time it's because of the gift he's been waiting for a decade: the arrival of his little sister.

We won't travel like last year, but that doesn't matter; the experience we're having has its charms because we're witnessing the evolution of that tiny being who has already taken over our hearts.

I won't be able to offer Radio Nuevitas audiences commentaries, photo reports, interviews, news, or chronicles about summertime experiences on beaches and rivers, but I can suggest you enjoy this Siempre Joven Summer without neglecting your health and respecting those around you.
