Nuevitas, 2025.- Summer is one of the most joyful seasons of the year and is characterized by longer days and shorter nights.
During this time, the high and challenging temperatures make outdoor living easier and encourage people to seek new options to mitigate the oppressive heat that characterizes the months of July and August.
The summer season is often associated with fun and joy, which is why many people think it's just about meeting with friends, getting in direct touch with nature at camping, taking a dip in beaches and pools, and enjoying night time parties.
But summer isn't just about that. In Nuevitas, for example, it's also a time to learn about local history by visiting the museum, going to the bookstore in search of a good book, or sharing with family the wide variety of options for the delight of the locals.
That's why the "Dancing in Cuba" event, where lovers of popular dance music and various Cuban genres show their skills, will once again brighten up July nights.
In addition, staff from the National Institute of Sport, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER) and cultural promoters will play a decisive role in ensuring healthy recreation for children, youth, and adults in the municipality's distant communities. And the little ones will have a place to relax, I'm referring to the "Ñico López" playground.
For this reason, let's make the most of summer, let's live intensely to the rhythm of the sun, the warm waters of the sea, and the steep hills of this shore, so we can fully enjoy the summer season that is already upon us.
