Nuevitas,- Workers of the Centro Este Maritime Administration Group, of this Camagüey municipality, participated in a health prevention day.
According to Captain Raul Mayo Cabrejas, the main topic was the fight against drugs, a substance that is prohibited on board ships and vessels. They also reflected on alcoholism and its detrimental effects on human life.
The meeting to confront the use of addictive components took place in Nuevitas with the support of Bety Cinta and Yamilé Llorca, head of the Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases Department, and health promoter, respectively.
In this territory, preventive actions are carried out in different spaces, mainly where the new generations prevail; and once again it is confirmed that in Cuba tolerance to drugs is null.
