Nuevitas, 2024.- This municipality has the new provincial champion of the Games for athletes with physical and motor disabilities - 12/13 and 14/15 years old - held at the Rafael Fortún Chacón athletics track in the City of Tinajones.
Jorge Mario Sánchez Bonora, a student of the América Latina high school, won first place in the 100-meter dash and the ball throw, and second place in the long jump with impulse; achievements that placed him at the top as the most comprehensive of all participants.
The event was attended by chess and athletics players from six Camagüey municipalities.
The Games for athletes with physical and motor disabilities - 12/13 and 14/15 years old - at national level will take place this month in Villa Clara, where Sánchez Bonora will represent the province of Camagüey.
Congratulations to Jorge Mario Sanchez Bonora and his coach, Milvia Heredia Mellado, for proving that sport is a space for inclusion, resilience and love.
