Oct, 2024.-Marvely Font Roque, many of us know her, or rather, hundreds, thousands, even outside the Camagüey and Cuban borders, because just by tuning in to 103.5 FM of CMHL or by real audio through the digital site of Radio Nuevitas we find her in different work roles.
She is a woman of Radio, who in her almost 30 years of dedication to her work, day after day, receives the award from her listeners for the passion with which she writes, directs a radio program or gives workshops to advise with that gift of teaching that she still preserves.
A smiling and slow-spoken woman with a degree in Spanish Literature, she shares her wisdom with colleagues, listeners and those who approach her in search of information, of some necessary knowledge, in each radio program.
Marvely is a mother, and already her son Stalin follows her path in the Radio, despite being a graduate in Tourism, teachings that leads to the smokeless industry.
But she is also an outgoing person, as those of us who interact with her face-to-face or through social media know this, and she is also a true and sincere friend, a human being who quickly gains the trust of people, or simply of a passerby who crosses paths with her on a daily basis.
For all her work and passion, she was multi-awarded in the Artemisa National Cuban Radio Festival 2024; she obtained a Grand Prize that fills the guild with pride, because she combined the bolero, as a musical genre, with several generations of interpreters of this land to exalt the local culture.
But the important thing is that Marvely returned full of wisdom and very optimistic to give much more because Radio is her second home, is where she can make 'Sound to see'.
