August, 2024.- The young Claudia María Casals Valdés, from Nuevitas, represents Cuba in Paris in a cultural exchange proposal promoted by the Cuba Cooperation France Association (CubaCoop), as an artistic talent from this Camagüey municipality.
The young Claudia is part of the delegation of students from the Luis Casas Romero Vocational School of Arts (EVA), located in the city of Camagüey, but also she belongs to the Eva Dance Music project.
Arnol Romero Simón, manager of the Aires de Bahía socio-cultural project in Nuevitas, posted on Facebook: "I watched her grow up; she is disciplined, punctual, intelligent, independent, cheerful and, she loves her passion: dancing".
The Aires de Bahía project was the place where Casals Valdés trained for more than five years until she joined EVA.
According to information on Radio Rebelde, the young people of Camagüey work in squares, schools and cultural centers, where they show what they have learned through the Artistic Education system.
Popular Cuban dances to spread the national culture are “the main course” from August 14 until August 21, promoted by Eva Dance Music in six performances with the shows Mi solar, and Cubafrica, in which Claudia is one of the protagonists.
