Nuevitas, April, 2024.- The 45th edition of the Provincial Radio Festival in Camagüey, scheduled for May 17 and 18 in this municipality, is one of the main motivations to strengthen radio creativity.
This celebration is devoted to the centenary of the first radio broadcast in Camagüey and the 85th anniversary of Radio Nuevitas.
The deputy general director of the Radio in Camagüey, Pedro Alexander Cruz Moisés, and the head of the Communication Department at the headquarters, Ayler Almarales Fonseca, exchanged with workers of the local radio station to know the organizational actions of the event.
Yordany Robles Borges, director of the center, exposed the initiatives planned in order to guarantee the quality of the event and for radio broadcasters and guests to enjoy their stay in the coastal city.
Researchers, historians and specialists will participate in the theoretical session with the aim to generalize knowledge and arouse debates focus on a betterment of communicative products to radio listeners and cybernauts.
From May 2 to 9, the jury made up of well-known radio broadcasters and artists of the country, will assess the works in the categories of special thematic, varied programme, sports, news, dramatic series and musical programs, advertising and Internet productions, and will also award the mentions they deem appropriate.
