Nuevitas, Mar 17.- An emotional meeting was held by the candidates for deputies to the Cuban Parliament, Lilia María Hernández Doejo and Clara Isabel Delgado Gamboa, with students and teachers from the Oscar Primelles Cisneros, mixed school, belonging to the council San Miguel.
Manuel Fernández Agrás, president of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, led the meeting in the company of the president of the council Rosaida Cabrera Rodríguez, who expressed the enthusiasm of the voters of the demarcation to attend the polls on March 26.
The poem Canción a Fidel, by Carilda Oliver Labra, and the décima to Antonio Maceo, by Antonio Guerrero, declaimed by the children Yordanis Rodríguez Fuentes and Rosmeris Pérez Salazar, added color to the meeting and, once again, showed the quality of their work members of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade.
In direct contact with the people, the candidates for deputies of the National Assembly have visited various sites in the territory, accompanied by representatives of the communication media Nuevavisión and Radio Nuevitas, the 10 de Octubre Thermoelectric Power Plant, the October Revolution Fertilizer Company, the 26 de Julio Cement Factory, the Cuba Petróleo unit, and the Camalote Canning Factory, as well as complex circumscriptions of the demarcation.
Lilia María Hernández Doejo and Clara Isabel Delgado Gamboa receive expressions of affection and admiration every day and support for the Cuban social project from the locals; they trust that a better future is possible.
