Nuevitas, Aug 1.- Significant works of social impact materialize in Nuevitas thanks to the land contribution of one percent made by companies and organizations of the municipality, as well as the contribution of local development projects in execution, which shows what is necessary to comply on time with that fiscal duty.
Currently, a significant part of said income is used to promote new initiatives and the consolidation of others already established, like the Aguas Nuevas, Alebrije, La Ribereña, Visiones ,and Publish projects.
This year, in addition, the Municipal Directorate of Culture receives financing of 650 thousand pesos for this concept, a budget for the benefit of the town based on the progress made in the constructive rehabilitation of the Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda House of Culture and the refurbishment of the Cultural Center in the old Nuevitas cinema.
On the other hand, remodeling actions are carried out in the Gonzalo Esteban Lugo Municipal Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology, and Microbiology, with an allocation of more than 300 thousand pesos, to favor the care of the inhabitants of Camalote, Minas, and this riverside town.
The one percent land tax is manifested in investments made a reality such as the Patana-Malecón complex, and in the solution of numerous proposals from voters, which directly favors the well-being of the local population.
