The Re-registration process of economic actors takes place in NuevitasNuevitas, July 29.- The application of a new nomenclator extends the authorized activities to exercise in the self-employment modality until September 20, the process of re-registration of these economic actors.

Resolution 44 of 2021 of the Council of State, in its introductory transitory provision, establishes a period for the re-registration of self-employed workers of up to 12 months from the entry into force of the legal regulations, for which Trujillo Osorio urges the locals not to wait for the limit period, to avoid the agglomeration of people in the entity.

At the end of June, this Camagüey demarcation had a total of 2,513 workers per account, of which 2,178 were from the Municipal Directorate of Labor and Social Security, 317 from the State Traffic Unit, and the remaining 18 from the Insurance Company Nationals.

On August 1 of that calendar, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, then President of the Council of State and Ministers of the Island, commented in the National Assembly of People's Power that the Council of Ministers had agreed to the use of self-employed workers own “as one more alternative for the employment of surplus workers, eliminating several current prohibitions for the granting of new licenses and the commercialization of some productions, making the hiring of the labor force more flexible”.

The country accumulates experience in this option recognized in the economic model and the Economic and Social Policy Guidelines of the Party and the Revolution, a necessary option within the non-state sector that maintains sustained work in Nuevitas.
