Camagüey, Aug 6.- The Grand Prize for Artistic Excellence won the Camagüey‘s Camagua Folk Company, in the 30th edition of the Spectacles World Festival, Port in Saone, France, said Fernando Medrano, director of that Cuban group.
Camagua, who since last June represents Cuba in different European events, transfers to the stage the soul of a town in which music and dance are breath and root.
The Weezevent digital site stands out that the International Festival of Folklore Port in Saone emerged on July 13, 1990 in a specially designed scene on wooden easels.
At the Spectacles World Festival, dancers from different nations who wear their typical and bright costumes share the bright stage, with the sound of exotic music and warm voices.
The Camagua Folk Company also attended the 55th edition of the Chateau Gombert International Festival in France and at the 31st International Folklore Exhibition “Por las Cantabria”, Spain, among other European events.
